back hurting

I had a really good workout this morning.... I am getting stronger and am feeling goode

Except that my back started to really hurt this morning. I came and worked from home switching from cold to heat and taking some pain meds.... I had planned on a 45 minute run tomorrow but I think I will just walk instead so as not aggravate the back

it was a good week....

I noticed that I am at least getting stronger. while I was lifting I went with more weight. I will be raising the amount of time that I do cardio this next week. I am eating less. the weight isnt coming off as fast as the first week but it is coming off

The other competitor

Well my brother in law Joel finally sent me his beginning weight.

292lbs (I started at 255)... He will be sending pictures to me to post hopefully today. Its funny as we were talking last night we both realized that we are losing weight by controlling portion sizes and exercising. In the first week alone we were both losing weight.

For week two I am going to step up the cardio and do it every day.... On days that I lift I will do cardio for 20 minutes and days that are cardio I will do cardio for 40 minutes

First work week

Well.... its always tough when you start a diet. Since you are used to snacking (my big problem) your stomach starts to grumble... I am doing ok now and am losing the desire to eat as much. Thursday night Nancy made a treat (Ice cream cookie) to which I only had half. I have worked out everyday and have not cheated on the diet.

I think next week I am going to increase the cardio to every day
